Helping Hands Community Resource Center
In April of 2017 Helping Hands Community resource Center opened in a new location 11126 SE 62nd Ave. Belleview in the Walker Building.
Our purpose is to encourage our clients by providing food and clothing to those in need. We try to provide other resources to encourage them and provide resources to help them improve their and their family’s lives.
We try to help clients with solutions or referrals to agencies where they can receive more help beyond clothing and food. We partner with Marion County Homeless Council and the United Way to provide help we are unable to provide.
We also partner with other local agencies and business to provide the maximum amount and the most needed help and resources for our local residents with the most efficient use of resources, materials and monies available.
Dolly Williamson continues as the coordinator of food and clothing distribution and the volunteers. Phil Toothman is the coordinator of counseling, record keeping and partnering with other organizations.
Open – Tuesday, Thursday 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
