MISSIONS at First Baptist Church

OUR PURPOSE

We are an Acts 1:8 church that embraces our “Jerusalem (Belleview and Marion County), our Judea (Florida), our Samaria (USA/North America), and the Ends of the Earth (beyond).

CARRYING OUT OUR PURPOSE

We are an autonomous participating Southern Baptist Church. Members at First Baptist are active in mission’s education, intercessory prayer, giving and going keeping our vision to be a vital part of taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to an unreached world.

We attempt to provide an atmosphere that guides the congregation towards a mission’s lifestyle whereby they live out the Great Commission as directed by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8.

Each year there are opportunities for individuals and families to participate in volunteer trips locally and globally.

Everyone is encouraged to participate though prayer. FBC Belleview has four primary Prayer Plus Partnerships with Unreached People Groups.

Giving is a very important part of supporting mission projects and personnel through the Cooperative Program and special offerings. Whether individual members are involved in the Belleview Founder’s Day event or prayer walking in Belgium it is all about making a difference together.
