Giving to First Baptist Church of Belleview
First Baptist Church of Belleview is committed to reaching those who are far from God, unleashing unprecedented levels of compassion into a broken world and helping each of us become more fully devoted to Jesus Christ. We have the privilege of partnering with God’s work in the world by using our gifts and resources through our local church.
FBCB is committed to honoring God’s provision by exercising wise and faithful stewardship, ethical business practices and full accountability to ensure the financial integrity of FBCB remains above reproach. We accomplish this through a system of internal controls and an internal budgeting and reporting process. More information can be requested through the FBCB business office.

Why Do We Give?
Proverbs 3:9, “Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops…”
Tithing is more than giving. The word “tithe” literally means “tenth” or 10%. Tithing, or giving 10% of your income, isn’t merely giving something to God. It’s giving back what was His to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from God. The Bible says that tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything. It teaches us to always put God first in our lives.
